The 5kW Single-Phase Off-Grid Solar Power System is a battery-backed home system generating 600 to 750 units per month, sized to run a large house around a 4 BHK independently of the grid.
Who this system is for. This is the system to choose if your area faces frequent or long power cuts and you want your whole home running through them, not just a few circuits. Unlike an on-grid system, which lowers your bill but shuts down the moment the grid fails, an off-grid system stores power in batteries and runs your home on its own day and night, through any outage. At 5kW it handles a large household's full load: lights, fans, TV, fridge, washing machine, mobiles, and laptops, on solar during the day and on battery through the evening and night.
Who it suits by consumption. This system generates 20-25 units per day, 600-750 units per month. Check your latest bill: if your monthly consumption falls in that range, this 5kW system matches your usage. It is sized for a 4 BHK home or equivalent smaller households will be better served by the 2kW or 3kW, which cost considerably less.
How the system works. When sunlight hits the panels, they produce DC power, which the inverter converts to AC for your appliances. Surplus generation charges the batteries. At night, your home runs from stored battery power. If the batteries run low, the system draws from the grid as a fallback — so you have constant electricity regardless of load-shedding.
Off-grid or hybrid worth deciding before you buy. An off-grid system gives you independence from the grid but no net-metering benefit: you are buying backup, not bill savings. A hybrid system at similar capacity does both it stores power for outages and exports your surplus for net-metering credit against your bill. If you have high bills as well as power cuts, the hybrid is usually the better economics. If your priority is simply running through outages, off-grid is simpler. Tell our team which problem you are actually solving and we will point you to the right one.
On the batteries. An off-grid system's value is entirely in its batteries. At 5kW running a whole house, the bank is a substantial investment and sizing it correctly is what determines whether the system does its job. Tell our team your critical load and how long your outages typically last, and we will size it against that the most common off-grid mistake is a bank too small to last the outage it was bought for.
