About the System:
On-Grid A solar-powered system is designed to have power for its own use and send extra power to the electricity board for benefits. If you are facing high bills from the electric board,
A 4 kw on-grid solar system is designed to run your basic household items like a TV, fan, bulb, tube light, fridge, mobile, and laptop directly on solar.
How does the system work?
1. When sunlight falls on Solar panels, DC power is produced, which is converted into AC power via an inverter.
2. This converted power can be used directly by your appliances; if the generation is greater than your consumption, the power gets supplied to the electricity board.
3. During the night, solar energy becomes zero, and the power to your appliances comes from the electricity board (same as usual).
4. The same procedure works for the whole month and year.
5. A metre known as a bidirectional metre" or net metre will calculate how many units you have consumed and how many units you have given to BESCOM. Based on this, the electricity bill will be calculated.
6. If you have consumed more, you have to pay bill for net units and if you have consumed less, you will get money from
Is this system Suitable for you?
System Generated 16–20 units per day OR 480–600 units per month on average, depending upon weather conditions.
Check your latest electricity bill and note the number of units consumed in that month. Check if the number of units is between 480 and 600 or not. If yes then this system is best suitable for you.
