The Supreme Heavy Plus 270 LPD ETC Solar Water Heater is an evacuated tube system with a porcelain-enamel-coated CRCA steel tank, sized for a family of 6 to 7, carrying a 20-year tank warranty. It uses 26 tubes to heat a 270 litre tank rated to handle water hardness up to 2000 ppm. It is a gravity-fed, non-pressurized system.

Here the inner tank is CRCA steel cold rolled close annealed, the grade used where a smooth, uniform surface is needed finished with a porcelain enamel coating. The outer shell is powder-coated steel or stainless.
