The Pentair PWS 1665 Water Softener is a fully automatic hard water softener that converts your incoming hard water into soft water using 185 litres of golden resin media the largest of Pentair's domestic softeners. It recharges itself with no manual intervention, holds 50kg of salt, and uses 28kg per recharge cycle.

Against the smaller models the PWS 1354 at 100L resin and the PWS 1465 at 150L the 1665 treats more water between regenerations, which matters when demand is high enough that a smaller unit would regenerate too frequently.
